Meat Boys

here's a little preview of my and Ottar's collaboration comic book "Meat Boys issue 1." we finished it in Oslo just before i left for New York, and US customs found it disturbing enough to hold me for 30-45 minutes at the airport before letting me go. i sold the copies i'd brought with me at the Printed Matter event though, so it was a success. soon as i get a chance i'll scan the drawings properly and put some more of them up!

Film with Anja, part 2

Part 1

For once we didn't spend two hours in the video shop, Anja pretty quickly chose The Nanny Diaries and I didn't protest as I've learnt by now that it's futile, so I reserve arguing for when she picks something truly torturous. I chose Eastern Promises by David Cronenberg, which I've been dying to see for so long! Anja got all whiny and wanted me to pick I Am Legend instead because she knew I wanted to see that as well. I went along with it since I didn't really want to see Eastern Promises with her sitting next to me groaning. We started drinking gin (which Anja really hates) right away when we got home, and we both thought Nanny Diaries was awful. I Am Legend was okay for a blockbuster type film, but the zombies were very disappointing; they were CGI and not scary or goodlooking at all.

(Film with Anja isn't so much about film as it is about Anja, or me and Anja; she's my best friend and we have absolutely no interests in common.)
