These are some of my very favorite drawings of yours. You keep getting better. Maybe you got reminded of the smiley face by Lowman but he got reminded of it by someone else, of course. These are great. How's the new book with 38th Street coming? I wish we could have a cup of coffee.

hi richard, thanks a lot! i hope i'm getting better, otherwise i don't know what i'm doing. i have no idea how the book's going, of course, josh is the man who's worse at mail than me. what did he say when you gave him the drawings? i'll mail him if i don't hear anything. yeah, i wish we could go have coffee or something. dennis is in nyc right now with his theatre thing "Jerk", you should check it out. you should also mail me slow poke!
