hey, i'm about to go to sleep, then get up and go to new york, so i'll be blog-free for about a week. i'm away a little longer than that so i'll see what i can do, but it might be slow for a little while. i've packed my camera.

so how did you get into the show in NYC? Was it word of mouth/who you know or did you apply to the gallery with a portfolio? Do you apply all over the place? How do you know what NYC galleries are right for you? Do you have an agent?
Am I thinking too much?

heyhey! seeing you was suoerfun! yeah, Nicholas and I looked, like, really all over the place for twinkies, hohos, dingdongs etc, becoming increasingly puzzled and fascinated that we couldn't locate any. we both grew up with those kinds of snacks, so it was weird realizing you can't even buy them in Nyc. when i got home last night i searched on Yelp for 'twinkies' and apparently the only nearby place to get them is the 'Wonder Hostess Thriftshop' in Woodside, Queens, about an hour outside the city, where they have, um, a Hostess-brand outlet/discount shop. ::shivers::
the show at Andrea Rosen was amazing, congratulations so much! i'll see you in Paris in July, but wouldn't be surprised if your art brought you here again in the meantime.
