Right now and 'til the end of the week Dan Faltz's superb and beautiful short film (35 min.) "Weak Species" can be watched on Great Lakes Independent Film Festival's site. The film is based on Dennis Cooper's writings, specifically "Closer" and some poems, and has won several festival awards including in its category at Great Lakes.
it costs a dollar to view (paypal or credit card), but once you've paid you can watch it several times as long as you leave the page open (i've seen it twice so far), and it's really worth it. the director is working on developing it into a feature length film, which i so badly hope comes through. i highly recommend it.
