thats so sad. but unfortunately not rare. white tigers are very often inbred and suffer from many defects. just because they're beautiful people think it's ok for them to live in pain, half blind. what a rubbish world we live in..
i think they said this one's gonna be okay. they thought he would die 'cause he was born prematurely as well, but he's doing well now. but the way people breed animals, especially animals considered beautiful, is disgusting. it's the same with dogs and cats, "purebreds", who are inbred to keep them "pure", generation after generation. and certain kinds of dogs and cats that never existed in the wild, and couldn't survive on their own, that have been bred forth for their appearance, like hairless cats. it's eugenics and it's fucked up.
